才知道，Compaq创始人都是TI出身，所以公司在休斯敦，下场跟苹果很相似，制造业就这么惨，所以后来的IT公司都力争主动，google，********等。另外，翻译名不对，应该是“硅之牛仔”，人家不在硅谷，名字里也没有valley

戴尔的书里多次提到德州的同行，忽然想起来从来没了解过这家曾经风光的公司。起步产品是Portable computer，也经历和和IBM的竞争和专利**，OEM真是竞争激烈。

netflix上看的，带英文字幕。看着看着居然回忆其小学初中九十年代到父亲单位玩电脑（也就是打打字），牌子有IBM，也有康柏，想不到当时的电视新闻业丢了那么多行业商业讯息。还有初中好友的软件梦想。说八零后看日漫幸福，那时电视大学，音乐台商业味没有才叫幸福，现在看电视看**都要留心
